Did Barcelona negotiate with Dalot?
Some news revolves around Barcelona negotiating to sign Portuguese Diogo Dalot, the Manchester United back.
Several reports claimed that Barcelona is negotiating Dalot, to support the right-back position, during the current summer Mercato.
"Neither Manchester United nor Diogo Dalot's representatives have received any communication from Barcelona," wrote Fabrizio Romano, Europe's transfer expert for players and coaches.
"Dalot is receiving internal interest in Barcelona, but so far there are no negotiations about him," Romano added, via his Twitter account.
The transfer expert concluded, "Dalot received great appreciation from Manchester United coach Eric Ten Hag, while the Red Devils put Aaron Wan-Bissaka, his opponent at the right-back position, in the Mercato."
It is noteworthy that Dalot's contract with Manchester United expires next summer, and the two parties have not yet agreed to renew.
