Barcelona lays out a plan to get rid of Depay
Barcelona has drawn up a plan to get rid of Dutch striker Memphis Depay during the current summer transfer window.
And it seems that Depay came out of coach Xavi Hernandez's calculations, especially after contracting with Rafinha and Robert Lewandowski, in addition to renewing the contract of Ousmane Dembele.
According to the Spanish newspaper, Mundo Deportivo, Barcelona is studying several scenarios with Juventus to complete the Depay deal.
Barcelona is considering renewing Depay's contract, which expires in the summer of 2023, for an additional year, with him out on loan this summer, provided that he is obligated to buy next season.
Juventus is seeking to sign an alternative striker for its main striker Dusan Vlahovic, in light of the ambiguity of Alvaro Morata's position so far.
Among the other clubs interested in Depay, Manchester United, Olympique Lyon, Tottenham, Newcastle and Paris Saint-Germain stand out, but Juventus remains the favorite to sign him.
