Robert Lewandowski's agent has reached a verbal agreement with Barcelona over a summer move from Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich, according to Germany's Sport1 portal on Saturday.

The report said that agent Pini Zahavi and Barcelona are looking into a three-year contract for Lewandowski.

Lewandowski, 33, has been at Bayern since 2014 after four years at Borussia Dortmund and has a contract until 2023. He has reportedly told Bayern bosses he would not renew it and is possibly eyeing a summer move for which Bayern could generate a transfer fee.

According to Spanish reports it would depend on such a fee whether debt-ridden Barca could afford to sign the Polish marksman who has won every title on offer with Bayern and bettered several Bundesliga scoring records. The Sport paper said that Bayern have allegedly lowered their demand to €35-40 million ($36.4-41.7 million) while Mundo Deportivo said that the fee could rise if other European top clubs would also be interested, maybe making it impossible for Barca to get him.

Bayern president Herbert Hainer had meanwhile earlier in the week dismissed all transfer speculation, insisting that Lewandowski has a contract until 2023 which he has to fulfil.
